U.K based photographer Liam Aylott has spent some time venturing in and out of Central America. Along the way focusing his eye and observation towards people playing baseball. From stadiums to beaches, dusty Havana streets to small towns in Mexico, it certainly is loved in this part of the World he notices, and a wildly fun experience wherever the venue, it totally came down to the people and the culture they are surrounded in.
"The teams tuck into bags of crisps during the game and at the end of it all I go over to the players to ask if I can shoot some portraits, they insist I drink beers with them, I take them up on their offer and try to chat about the game in my broken Spanish as the sun sets."
"From my short glimpse into baseball in Central America I felt that regardless of where it is played, on sand, under floodlight or in a dusty field, one thing is for sure, it creates a great sense of community and Social engagement in this wonderful part of the World."
